Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to Apricot AI, the shared messaging platform operated by Apricot Labs, and to information processed through customer portal pages, operator workflows, connected messaging channels, and supporting infrastructure.

Information we process

Depending on how the service is used, Apricot AI may process:

  • account and portal-access information such as name and email address;
  • tenant and workspace configuration entered by customer administrators;
  • message content, channel identifiers, timestamps, and conversation history needed to route and answer messages;
  • operational metadata such as connection status, delivery results, and audit events;
  • support and troubleshooting information shared with Apricot Labs.

How we use information

We use processed information to operate the service, including to:

  • authenticate customer users and protect tenant boundaries;
  • receive, route, store, and respond to conversations across supported channels;
  • support human operator workflows, handoff, and service monitoring;
  • maintain channel connections such as Instagram and Telegram;
  • investigate incidents, abuse, reliability issues, or support requests.

How information may be shared

Information is shared only as needed to provide the service. That can include infrastructure providers, messaging-channel providers such as Meta or Telegram, and authorized customer operators working within the tenant that owns the conversation.

Apricot Labs does not sell customer or end-user conversation data.

Retention and security

Apricot AI keeps service data only as long as needed for active operations, customer history, support, or legal obligations. Access is restricted by tenant and role, and sensitive operational logs are reviewed to avoid storing raw secrets unnecessarily.
